PricingSeparate prices are provided for Bare Root Roses and Potted Roses.
Discounts will be offered for bulk orders. Details are available upon request.
Wholesale and Trade prices are available upon request.
All prices are assumed correct at the time of publication and all items are assumed to be available at the time of publication. However, we reserve the right to change information without notice. We will not process your order if the items are not available or if prices have risen. We will let you know the current position as soon as possible by contacting you using either the e-mail address or the telephone number that you provide to us when placing your order.
Product DeliveriesWe aim to dispatch roses, peonies and camellias within five working days. Please contact us if you have a query about delivery within a shorter or longer period of time, for example if delivery should be deferred until a specific date. We will do our utmost to post roses, peonies and camellias as near to a specified delivery date as possible. However, because deliveries are fulfilled by third party couriers, delivery on a specified date cannot be guaranteed.
If you request our courier leave the parcel outside, with a neighbour, etc., we do not accept any responsibility for subsequent damage or theft of the goods once left by the courier. Such goods are left at your own risk.
Please note that our plants are dispatched in the same growing stage as would be appropriate for that time of year. This means that roses, for example, dispatched in the autumn, winter and early spring are unlikely to have flowers (and in some cases foliage). During the summer, we always aim to select and dispatch plants in bloom, although this cannot always be guaranteed.
Consult your telephone operator or mobile provider for the most up to date call charges before calling us or sending us a fax. Calls to us may be monitored or recorded.
Product InformationDescriptions and information relating to colour, height and scent in our catalogue and website have been provided for guidance purposes only, although we do consider each to accurately reflect the products available.
We believe all goods grown and sold by us to be of the description and kinds specified at the time of the sale, but give no warrant, expressed or implied as to the growth or productiveness.
Product Guarantees In the event of a request to provide a replacement plant or a refund, we will either need photographs of the plants concerned or for the items to be returned to us at your cost.
Bare Rooted Rose Guarantee - We will replace any rose purchased in the autumn which has not grown (shown leaf or bud) by the 1st June in the year that immediately follows, provided we are satisfied that the rose was cared for and planted in an appropriate manner. No replacements or refunds can be given if loss is due to abnormal or extreme weather conditions, bad planting, lack of maintenance, neglect, planting in old rose beds and any other conditions beyond our control.
Potted Rose, Peony and Camellia Guarantee - Our potted Roses, Peonies and Camellias are sold with a six week guarantee. We will replace any rose, peony or camellia purchased which has not grown during this six week period, provided we are satisfied that the rose, peony or camellia was cared for and planted in an appropriate manner. No replacements or refunds can be given if loss is due to abnormal or extreme weather conditions, bad planting, lack of maintenance, neglect, planting your new rose in an old rose bed and any other conditions beyond our control.
Product AvailabilityPotted Standards, Half Standards, Quarter Standards, Mini Standards and Weeping Standards are not available by mail order. They are, however, available from our Garden Centres all year round.
Orders for Bare Root Roses, for planting in autumn and winter, are accepted throughout the year. We usually start lifting our roses in late October and customers are advised in rotation when their order is ready, so we cannot guarantee when your order will be dispatched - for more information on your order please call us on 01622 861477, or send us an e-mail.
All orders are subject to the availability of stock at the time the order is placed; items that are out of stock will either be substituted or refunded if payment has been made.
Complaints and RefundsIf you wish to make a complaint having taken delivery of our products, you must inform us in writing or by e-mail within three days of receipt. In the event of a request to provide a replacement plant, or a refund, we will either need photographs of the plants concerned or for you to return the items to us at your cost.
You have the right to a full refund if you cancel your order prior to dispatch. Refunds are at the discretion of the management of Rumwood Nurseries & Garden Centre.
